Just finished the first season. LOVED it! If you're into observing how different character types learn, evolve, and survive under challenging conditions. This show is much better than its American counterparts. These are real people, not all glam, buff, or beautiful, but real with genuine personal challenges to overcome while on the island. Some scenes would never be included in an American show and their British-isms make it all that much more entertaining. Mostly though it wasn't the entertainment that I relished as much as the raw humanity and the hopeful place the series ends: happy and grateful, re-centered, and delighted with life. I don't know what the show is like after season one, but I know it can't get any better. Really loved it!
