I have to say, this book does not get enough credit. It's so well written and one of the best sapphic books I've read in quite a while. I hadn't heard much about it prior to reading it (really nothing at all) and randomly found it but it turned out to be really good. It gives a real good example of what coming out can really be for some people (kind of like a reality check) and depicts how some parents may act towards their own children during a time when their child needs their support the most. It doesn't have those cringey moments where the person just comes out loud and proud and everyones kind and accepting, instead it shows the harsh realities and helps you relate to the protagonist and surrounding characters in multiple ways. Kudos to this author, I totally recommend!
