I thought this movie landed very well even though it had the regular american action film aesthetic. I liked how it underlined the politics if creating war although the motive behind it was so ridiculous! I loved Jordan's and Jodie Turner's performances and would recommend the film as a comfort viewing, nothing to make u think too hard.

I thought that the plot was very confusing although ambitious. I liked how they put multiple motives together, the american army, koval, rebel militia and free agents within army but i think it lacked coherence although the message comes across : we must reflect on the consequences of war in foreign (non american) countries but i wish the weaving of this theme and the plot ws more seemless, but i liked the performance of the actors.

I think the only part I liked was Malcolm's monologue in response to the LA time critique. However, I know this is a proxy-Sam L complaining about how people point out his white cis-het gaze which is omnipresent in the way he writes his work! I felt the film revolved around Malcolm's egocentrism and that Marie was so erased and I am tired of seeing women character portrayed this way. I think the acting was spectacular and the images were beautiful but they dont make up for the critique above.

I really liked this movie because I did not know how fake news are 1) produced and 2) maintained. I thought it was super informative this way and it also showed how this form of internet activity can in fact skew public opinions, i am recommending it to my friends!

If you are a Drag Race fan you will love We're here even more. It is such a refreshing take on the queer/drag world and I love the LOCAL approach to the show. The messages it delivers to the audience but also the immediate community are so important/vital (e.g. acceptance, open-mindedness, and kindness above all). I am so grateful for this show and recommend it to EVERYONE.

I loved this movie. I was super suspicious at first because I thought they would ruin the storyline and focus of the story and themes with a wack love story, but they didn't! I found the performance from all actors very well done and the directing very immersive in America's racial injustice and exploitation... if you are into these themes and you are curious to learn more you can also watch the documentary on Netflix called 13 !

rivetting plot and memorable performance by mahershala ali a little less "underbelly" like than s1 but just as well made recommended for sure! again, loved the complicated theme of marriage portrayed over time, flawed and yet genuine and profound love and respect between amelia and wayne

I really love this show. The elements that really strike me is really the complex character arc of each member of the family and also the complex relationships they have with each other (e.g. mom and dad, infidelity... etc) and also weird teen drama also really well weaved into Sam's character even if he is not neurotypical! Mostly, just showing that this family is so much more than Sam's diagnosis ... such a cute show, really a must if you want a cute feel good vibe!
