Anyone who's read the book will be sorely disappointed... The filmmakers took way too many "creative liberties" with the storyline and after watching the movie you can't really call it an adaptation. Both myself and my 11 year old son were disgusted with the movie. Terrible storyline, not great casting, and lack luster visual effects. Complete trash that I wouldn't recommend to anyone. I highly recommend the books to anyone aged 10 and up but my advice is to take a pass on the movie.
