This movie made me actively angry. Infuriating due to the fact that for the first 2/3rds of the film, it was actually very good! Inventive, interesting, with captivating scares (both jump scares and built suspense). It was on the verge of being a favorite! But then, it was as if for the ending the producer had simply quit and was replaced by a soap opera writer. It was ludicrous, stupidly done, and somehow the cinematography seemed to have gone downhill as well. The film had everything going for it and just catastrophically tanked the ending such as to possess viewers with an unspeakable rage.
