So much of this movie touched a very personal note. My son’s name is Luca, we are Italian, and he is not neurotypical, he is autistic and has a hard time fitting in and making friends. Not only was the setting for the movie beautiful but it did a very sweet job of touching on a subject that is important for all children but even more so for children that ‘look’ or ‘act’ or are different and finding the people that they can connect to. It always gives me hope seeing a story that says it’s ok to be different! Life can still be fun and full of adventures!! This mom definitely cried!!
