Except for a few character actors it’s a town of beautiful people and perfect teeth! If you have a movie set in 1881, it’s hard to believe people have access to a great dentist and bleaching. The acting is good, but they deserve a better script. It’s a pretty predictable murder mystery, and where do all these people come from, there are only a few buildings in the town that, by the way, looks very much like a movie set. I wish we could get westerns that show some realism and real people. There are precious few around.

During the movie I kept thinking that this is about a pandemic and the stars are interacting with lots of people and at no time protecting themselves. Also it is not very good.

This is not very good. Could have been so much better if it wasn’t all over the place, and if the characters were more believable.

Could have been a great show. But it fell apart by trying to do too much and a very bad last episode. The orphanage subplot was not necessary at all and was merely a distraction, especially since it went nowhere. The way the show wrapped up was hurried and not well thought out at all, with many questions left unanswered, even with the hope for a second season. For instance, in the last scene, for the heroine, who is broke, to drive off in what looks like a $50,000 RV was ridiculous to say the least, and that was only one bad wrap up of many.

What a lovely movie!
