Not the new “Game of Thrones”. First thing to say is I knew nothing about the Witcher before this series. It is not a bad watch but feels like a BBC series, like an upmarket “Merlin”. Henry Cavil is vey good but others can be a bit wooden at times. The bard who follows Geralt (Cavil) is pretty annoying at times. The story line hasn’t got me gripped and the characters don’t really have my buy in at the moment. The series is shot out of sequence and this can be confusing as to what time period you are watching. I found watching it a second time I enjoyed it a lot more.

Not a bad watch. Very predictable and that makes it a bit frustrating at times to watch. Drawn out acting that seems a bit too much at times. On the whole the acting is very good. The ending ruined it for me. Tries to give a big twist but for me it just didn’t work. Would rather he ended the good guy.
