I love this movie for many reasons...the main reason being how the Queen attempts to plan her daughter's life to fit HER expectations, not to what Merida wants. I can relate to that relationship and just like Merida, I rebelled. Luckily I didn't have to turn my mother into a bear (not for lack of trying) before we could have a decent relationship now.
