So growing up I was always a big Hilary Duff fan. I stumbled on this movie and having never heard of it before, I was curious. It was really overwhelming in the beginning. And Duff's character gave me some serious second hand embarrassment. She was so rude. It was all like a weird mix of cringy, cheesy, thoughtful, over exaggerated emotions. But it also had some truthful real life moments kinda more in the middle of the story. I think there were some good glimpses of what it would be for someone going through some rough mental health and childhood trauma issues.. But then I kinda felt like it suddenly dumped back into cringe at the end. It was an interesting one. Didn't hate it, but probably wouldn't watch again.
