No one does it like Jane Austen!
'Persuasion' is a different, more mature book. it's different from Pride and Prejudice or Emma in the sense it is more mature, the characters are slightly older than usual in Austen's novels. nonetheless, the slow burn, buildup, and anticipation is unmatched in this novel. Great book!
(captain Wenworth is hot)

For years now this has stayed at the top of the list of my favorite books, and honestly read it for yourself there are so many layers and I love the characters. It can be troubling to understand in the beginning but overall is a great book that everyone should read at some point and time in their life

I read it in one day, I originally saw the movie and decided to get the book- great decision!!!!
