I was a little skeptical going in because some of the other sequels/reboots I’ve seen in the recent years, especially involving horror movies tend to just not deliver. I’m glad to say that this film is worth the watch, especially if you’re a fan of the originals. It’s a more modern approach to the original premise of the film, revolving mainly around who the killer is, and delivers the “whodunnit” feel of the original, all while tying in the nostalgia of the original films with actors from the original, and settings from the original. All in all, great movie, highly recommend, and I hope any other reboots to old movies in the future come out as well as this one did.
