Simply superb, the ultimate black comedy.
May seem dated to the younger generations not familiar with the palpable possibilities of nuclear war during the 1960s.
For a jarring juxtaposition, watch FAIL SAFE afterwards . . .

Unfathomably superb, from start to finish. In a single stroke this masterpiece utterly redefined all that rock music could be, and then some.
I still distinctly remember getting a phone call from a friend of mine -- out of the blue: she simply said, "Go to the record store [Zip's Records, then just beyond the Main Gate entrance to the University of Arizona, which l was attending] and buy THE WALL. NOW!".
Being a very unusual call and suggestion, I decided to follow her edict, and went to Zip's. I was surprised -- and a bit put off -- to discover that it was a DOUBLE album -- which made it seem a tad pricey for my very limited budget . . . But, purely on the merits of my friend's earnestness I plunked down whatever it cost, took it home . . .
And experienced an utter snd immediate transformation in how I viewed the potentials or rock music, and had my mind stunned and amazed
