Caedon Blough

I don’t know who’s idea it was to make this film, I thought that the last movie was bad enough. I literally couldn’t finish this movie, this is clearly a plot to squeeze every last cent out of the home alone series. Another variation from the original film series that was bad was that the chubby Harry Potter version of Kevin Mccallister is the bad guy, stealing a very valuable doll from a families house forcing them to get it back or else them will lose their home. This home alone knock off might have ruined my Christmas spirit.

I found this movie uniquely heartwarming. Tom Hanks, as usual, does an astounding job playing the lead role. When I found this movie it was tagged as a drama/romance which partly made sense although there is not nearly as much romance as I thought would transpire in the film. In my opinion this is a good thing because I get tired of the predictability of romance movies and this movie kept me on my toes much more. I don't want to spoil anything so I will simply say that Mr. Navorski's (Tom Hanks) reason for being in New York seems very odd but to me seems like the kind of odd that happens in real life. The movie ends with the satisfaction that one can only receive after arriving victorious at the end of a long uphill battle. I believe that this film is a must watch as I believe that it is truly and undeniably unique and excellent in its own way.

Really interesting movie to watch at 3 in the morning, I'm really not sure how I ended up watching this but I enjoyed it. The only reason I can see it being rated R is because of like 2 minutes where they talk about some uh interesting things to do in bed. But besides that akwardity this movie was enjoyable to watch besides the fact that it reminds me that I am still alone.
