In my opinion, one of the best looking games out there, don't get me started on the desktop backgrounds. The story was the most the most strong in a video game that kept me theorising for a good while after. I love that feeling of never quite being alone that the game puts into effect and I still remember a line of dialogue that included something like: "show me to where you keep the shot gun and I'll feel safer than an ostrich with it's head in the ground." or something along that line. Never played it, but have seen gameplay by RadBrad and hope to play it for myself sometime.
