Pros: immersive and beautiful world that you can get lost in for hours upon hours. Did a good job making the side quests different in order to keep them somewhat interesting. Raiding is a blast and the fighting mechanics are relatively well done. The world is HUGE, and very detailed, on 4K it is stunning. Enjoyed the storyline as always, a little less straightforward than odyssey, which is good. The settlement features are awesome and a very nice addition.
Cons: A LOT of glitches, too many to list they they take away from the game quite a bit. Reminds me of when Skyrim first came out and it was complete chaos. I’m sure like Bathesda did with Skyrim Ubisoft will correct this in short order so no harm no foul....yet. A lot of real head scratchers were made in this game. The gear is stunning and I love the upgradability of stat preferences but so few choices. Skill tree leaves a lot to be discerned as well compared to the mastery level system of odyssey. All in all the method of customization both in equipment and skill progression feels like a one step forward and two or three steps back. I miss the random side quests that intertwined with the main story arc. There is a lot left on the table for this game, it’s a good start but is missing out on quite a bit. I’m sure the DLCs will work out a lot of kinks.
