Detroit Diezel

Ignore the naysayers and go see this if you like action packed, popcorn movies. It's nowhere near as bad as the critics claim it is. If you liked watching the old Godzilla movies as a kid, you know the ones with guys dressed in rubber monster suits stomping around miniature cities and bad overdubbed voices over the Asian actors... then you will love this movie. King of the Monsters is better than the previous American made Godzilla movies and the King Kong movies. It is packed full of action and I highly recommend it, if you just want to escape from the real world for a couple of hours. I liked this so much that I've seen it twice. If you can, I suggest seeing it in D-Box seats. I give this film a solid "B+" rating.

I saw Dark Phoenix last night and thought it was pretty good. Not as good as First Class or Days Of Future Past. But way better than Apocalypse. It is better than what the critics are saying. Let's face it, the last super hero movie was Endgame, so everyone is coming down off of that high of such a phenomenal film, that any super hero movie that comes after it is going to be a let down. I give Dark Phoenix a solid "B" grade. At least it wasn't The Last Stand!
