Morally and philosophically gripping and so very relevant to our predicament today. The writing didn’t allow for a natural flow but did create a constant tension. I was left in a state of ambiguity about the characters and the morality of the decisions that were made which takes it out of the main stream. I enjoyed it but my gf hated it.

A work of art that transcends Tele drama with the beauty of the cinematography, the spiritual goodness (Gump like) of the main character who inspires all the characters around her, and the parallel display of Japanese culture and exquisite food. A masterpiece in my books.

Burton is a genius and so is whoever wrote the Wednesday character in this series. I am the staunchest anti feminist and despise the woke propaganda in Hollywood but I am so taken by this female hero in Wednesday. She is by far the coolest character male or female ever written and it happens to be a diminutive little girl. Any past iteration of a “cool man” seems cliched and fake compared to Wednesday. Whether the writers had in mind Jung’s notion of incorporating one’s shadow to be complete is unknown but we do see in this show the correct application of his theory of the human psyche. Simply a great retelling of the heroes journey that teaches us that being cool is all about what’s inside.

It is a really yummy macaroni and cheese.

the best 3D film i have seen. 3D is used to enhance realism rather than as a gimmick. The story is just perfect.

this is now one of my favourite cartoons/movies of all-time. As groundbreaking as pulp fiction was in telling a story in an unique way. A must see on the big screen.
