Linda DeMoss

Was disappointed in this movie. As a lifelong fan of the book and the movies, I thought this movie was very disjointed. It skipped from one time period to another to another rapidly with the different characters and if I didn't know the story I would have been very confused. I did enjoy the actress that played Jo very much, but the Laurie I had always pictured as a virile, handsome young man was not the actor playing this role. He was way too young, thin and boyish to fit the role properly. Also, the actor playing the professor was too attractive. I had always pictured the professor that Jo eventually falls in love with as an older, heavier, maybe even unattractive man, showing that she fell in love with the inner person not the outward appearance, very fitting for Jo.
