I have only read the English version of ‘Mist and The Soul of Darkness’ which is one of the three short stories from ‘The Writings of MT Vasudevan Nair. The chronotope of the story teleports the reader to an all new realm where sense of time and space gets lost! The atrocities faced by Velayudhan (protagonist) do not come to an end even at the end of story. I suggest to everyone that is a must read story! Rest you yourself can explore in a quick reading of 20 minutes because I don’t wish to act like a spoiler for such a magnificent work. Sushant Jaswal (HSS Student of IIT Madras)
