Probably the best put together album at the ideal moment in a bands journey with the optimal amount of production to create a supreme listening experience. The mix, snare sound, guitar reverb and delay, piano timbre and the voice!
This is stuff of legend. Glad to be born in this era.

The LP sounds so incredible. I cannot believe that the band completed this album in the absolutely devastating circumstances that they did. It's beautiful and sad at the same time. And incredibly inspiring. A piece of history.

Masterful casting, performances and film making that tread a thin line between docu drama and fiction. Beautifully portrayed eternal struggle of the pursuit of formal art especially Indian Classical Music and the convolutions, distorted reality, utterly high expectation and everything else that comes within the guru shishya system. At times blissfully unsettling, this is Chaitanya Tamhane and Viveck Gombers step up to the next level of being able to communicate, educate and enlighten freely. BRAVO to the entire crew. Yes, the music bits have also been executed near flawlessly which is quite a feat in itself!

This album is such a trip. Three improvisers playing structured music in an improvisational fashion. Some real lessons in there on flow. All the tracks are banging hard. Some moments feel heavier than some metal albums I've heard! Effect manipulation is really interesting as well to create some trips dripping with saturation. Overall joy! Thank you Sires. Awaiting another studio album by this trio someday.
