The main character is very annoying. Ungrateful and obsessive. She could try differently to gain attention. She is blinded by her love(cough, obsession) with the boy that she discards everyone around her. Her step mother was so great and her family were trying so hard for her. But she pushes everyone away without reason. It's very unpleasant and very problematic. Nothing wrong with loving someone. Just don't force them to love you.
