Honestly one of the most boring and confusing movies I’ve ever seen. Nothing is really explained and the things that are “explained” are really just barely hinted at. I got most of the way through and then turned it off because I couldn’t get into it. It felt like they were trying so hard to make an obscure movie about mental illness but they couldn’t quite grasp the concepts. Came off as a little pretentious. I didn’t know there was a book prior to reading these other reviews, so I’ll definitely look into reading it because it sounds like the book was a million times better than the movie.
