I know very little about Dragon Ball Z, let alone Dragon Ball Super. For what it's worth, DBS: Broly was pretty much what you'd expect for a Dragon Ball movie.
"technical aspect" wise? Animation felt dynamic, and overall exciting - through parts even OUTSIDE the fight scenes. Colors were bright and made everyone stand out (not including the last fight scene, that doesn't apply). Voice acting was okay, pretty good for an "anime movie" but still awkward at times. There were points in the audio in which it was weird, and felt kinda empty at times which kinda sucked, which was also pretty common throughout the whole movie.
Plot wise? What do you expect, really. DB as a series is known for epic fight scenes and pacing, not so much story - which is pretty apparent here. Characters are pretty one sided, you don't really relate to anyone or understand their motives, outside Frieza - who is probably the most entertaining character in terms of personality, actually. Oh, and the fight scenes took up like half the movie, and this shouldn't surprise anyone.
Not much to say really - DBS: Broly was just another anime movie with some cooler fight scenes.
