The integrity of Mike Flanagan was completely lost with this film. Doctor Sleep is just a bunch of cheap jump scares, poor editing, bad effects, and the last half hour was quite a distasteful experience . The callbacks to The Shining were so cheap I couldn't help but put my head in my hand. The child actors were awful and the scenes in which the villains sucked the life force out of people were just hilarious. The Shining is far superior to this awful mess.
