Just watched Madame Web on Netflix. I enjoyed it. I'm not familiar with this character though I do read comics so I watched with no prior knowledge. It was a pretty standard comicbook movie with a backstory and action sequences. I think I most enjoyed the "found family" aspect between Madame Web and her teenaged foundlings, so to speak. They behaved like teenagers just up to the point where they realized the seriousness of the situation. Things unfolded from there. Nothing groundbreaking but still a solid story. I'd recommend it.

Death on the Nile was a fun traditional murder mystery. I was even surprised by the inclusion of some comedy. No wild plot twists or surprises. Just a straight forward who-done-it.

I enjoyed the movie. I felt like the script was pretty close to perfect and Regina King did an amazing job as director. They actors captured each man well & they worked so well together. Loved it!

I first watched this movie as a pre-teen but now I’m rewatching it at 34. It doesn’t quite hold up as well. I’m not convinced these 2 have much chemistry or would realistically fall in love during such a stressful day. The kids make it cute though.

I enjoyed the movie. I didn’t read the book so I didn’t go into the movie expecting it to be anything. It was long but it made me care about each character & their fate.
