There is no suspense in the fight scenes we all know that rey is going to win because all the SJW stuff,for example in star wars empire strikes back Luke actually loses the fight against vader and fans were surprised by this as well as darth Vader turns out to be Luke's father but there is not the same connection in last jedi or the force awakens. There is too much going bad in this world today and to see star wars take that turn it is heart breaking. I feel like Luke could've had a better death as he is already about to did he couldve actually been there, he's meant to be the most powerful jedi that has ever lived and for him to did die like that is unsatisfactory.
