This book made me cry. But also it made me smile. Ruby is growing up and learning to make peace with her “ elephanyness” and her complicated relationship with humans. If elephants can truly remember everything, then Ruby’s memories are even more poignant and powerful. It urges you, the reader, to do something…before it’s too late. I loved this book. Couldn’t put it down
