Calibre is a powerful film you dont enjoy, you take the journey with it. Strange thing is, I wanted the main characters to escape what had happened. I felt uneasy watching it. Two best friends go to the Scottish highlands on a deer hunting trip and a tragic accident throws them into a nightmare. You get the feeling that this could happen in real life. Makes you glad to know it's just a film. Fantastic direction and timing plus great acting makes this film special.

No atmosphere. Clinical. Laboured acting. Very little of the real world going on, rather like an episode of The Avengers - appropriate for Miss Stirling. Not such a bad ending, I thought. Decent enough try by the producers and actors etc. Maybe better luck next time, eh?
