WOW is all I can say about this imaginative, creative production. So many twists and turns in the storylines behind some of Dickens' best known characters. I LOVED the series and was introduced to it after discovering Justin Young, of 'Sanditon' fame, was involved in writing some of the episodes. I instantly knew it would be an excellent series.
The actors are all excellent, again some of whom I had never come across, until 'Sanditon' : Mark Stanley as the surly Bill Sykes, Adrian Rawlins as Edward Barbary, Tom Weston-Jones as the odious Compeyson, and many other favourites.
It ends well, at the point where each original Dickens novel begins, so it makes perfect sense that each character's storyline concludes at Episode 20.
I highly recommend this production.
