This genre was sadly devoid of black characters. Enter Lovecraft Country, everything about this series is captivating. Each episode's pacing has been phenomenal. I also appreciate the raw and unfiltered look at America's sytem of apartheid. The hatred and inhumanity of racism is brilliantly juxtaposed with monsters and magic.This show makes it difficult to discern the monsters from the human beings.
