I don't see the point of rambling on and on about the game, giving away the details that you should be able to experience yourself by playing it. When I look at some of these reviews it really blows my mind, and makes me wonder if these people actually played the game all the way through, or if they're basing their opinion on what they heard about the game through someone else.
I Played it. I actually put 39 hrs and 7 minutes on my first run and I'm working on my second. I took my time and explored every hidden room, every nook behind that hard to see dumpster, EVERY little detail I could squeeze out of the game I did. And I loved every second of it. Was the story shocking? Absolutely. But life is shocking and unfair. It seems to me several people aren't getting the point of the story. It's not solely about revenge, it about self forgiveness.
If I were you and you still plan on getting the game, just do it. Make your own assumption by playing it yourself. I loved the first game (my favorite game tbh) and I was not let down by this game what-so-ever. It made me cry, it made me smile, and at the end it left me speechless for a full day or two while I tried to process the story.
