Liger is as annoyingly loud as it is nonsensical. I time-travelled back 30 years- a time where maybe this film might have worked if it had Sanjay Dutt leading and no one was stammering. It actually pissed me off. There is no better way of putting this. Why and how is Chunkey Pande American ? Why is Ananya trying to be showcased as sexy? Every 5 mins you ask yourself “why”? Who needed this movie? Please don’t waste money.

It’s a good watch. Saif Ali khan is great in this movie. Its quite upsetting to see it not get its due credit in an otherwise mostly disastrous year for indian cinema. The two critiques I’d give is it was slightly one note in some areas and the styling could have stayed away from the obvious references to jack sparrow. Not that either of this takes away from the movie. Please do watch it atleast once !
