A beautifully drawn and narrated travel report. It's also very helpful to recognize some facts from Israel, this strange country. I highly recommend it and also other books written by this creative author.

The book is a true masterpiece, but the movie is a total failure and doesn't even worth considering it as a single art work. However, the series made of it recently (starring John Turturro) is somehow interesting if and only if you haven't read the book yet. Hollywood turns many masterpieces into a real garbage. Read the book, fellas! you won't regret it
