It was awkward from the start and this awkwardness never left me throughout. What made it even more painful to watch was the fact that I didn’t understand why I felt awkward. Essentially, I was just sitting there watching something which was making me feel awkward for awkward’s sake. But perhaps that was the point - to make the audience feel awkward as they make decisions that gradually destroy a young mans life. Yet, awkwardly, I felt nothing as I contributed to the demise of this flawed protaganoist, rather just more agony as I watched the repetition of scenes which had no substance. An awkward attempt at making the audience feel awkwardly guilty with a pretence interactive experience. But maybe that was the awkward intention...for us to sit back and feel ridiculously awkward.
