!NO SPOILERS!
I saw Ralph Breaks the Internet for the first time last night at the theater, and I will admit beforehand, I was a bit nervous in whether it'd be a good movie or not. The question that was floating around my head was "How could Disney possibly make a sequel to a movie about vintage video game characters in an arcade going to the internet a halfway decent thing? How could they even write that?" But to my pleasant surprise, the movie proved to be REALLY REALLY good and I do not regret going at all. Actually, my sister and I were talking about possibly seeing it a second time and this time in 3D.
In the early beginning, the plot seemed a bit rushed as the writers appeared to be rushing to move the story along so it did seem a bit quick. But once the conflict established the plot slowed and we were soon met with what the conflict was and what the goal of the main characters was. In the middle, the composition flowed really well. We were able to see Ralph and Vanellope meet all sorts of new, interesting, and necessary characters--which was refreshing in my opinion. The movie was littered with references and jokes that were quite funny, but I don't think a really young audience would get some of them and their concepts. And the movie came with a real tear-jerker of an ending that was EXCELLENTLY made. The movie also has an underlying life lesson and message that I think everyone should learn.
Overall, I really enjoyed Ralph Breaks the Internet and I 100% recommend you to see it!
