D4 is special. There is an insane focus on the endgame with most people's opinions. I understand their qualms. HOWEVER, The campaign and world of this game is on a completely different level than it's predecessors. It's an ARPG that is nearly worthy of the RPG acronym. I think this is by far the best diablo engine and world, and I think good things are coming.

Despite the restrictions of a AA developer, this game outperforms all of your expectations. If you have any interest in this type of team, the game is unforgettable. Please play it.
