One of my favorite games of all time. Played it to death back in High School. If you enjoy traditional JRPGs you will absolutely love this game for its graphics, story and gameplay.

My favorite anime of all time. It holds personal significance for me and for many other people who have been stuck in a rut at one points in their lives. Highly recommend watching the anime, reading the novel and the manga. All three are slightly different experiences.
