I have never watched anything more real in my life than Ye Meri Family. I can watch it over and over again and it ll captivate me a tad more every single time. For everyone else, it's drama but for the 90's kids it's a trip down the memory lane. In the digital era where we are losing perspective of the word "real", this show reminds you of the true notion of life. I used to wonder how awesome my childhood would ve been had i been born in today's world but this show has put all my reservations to bed. This show is a testament to the fact that the 90's kids had the most endearing and memorable childhoods among all generations. Thank you TVF for producing an instant classic and above everything else, for helping me confront the child in me.

No!No!No!What have they done!I watched this movie with the highest degree of anticipation and excitement and i have never felt so disappointed.Although i understand that origin movies are always amazing and it becomes atrociously difficult to elicit the same response from the fans for the subsequent editions but then this one is not even remotely close to Volume 1.The whole idea of a humanoid plant was more than welcome since no one is more adorable than Groot but then a humanoid planet;its just asking too much of the fans.Volume 1 was appreciated so much as MCU managed to strike the right balance between fantasy and reality.Volume 2 on the other hand is stuffed with too much fantasy which not only makes the storyline too intricate but also makes it difficult to fathom.A humanoid planet that's planting seedlings all over the universe but doesn't have sufficient energy to activate them.So he starts conceiving children with women across the globe.None of his children possess the capability to manipulate and harness Ego's energy except Star Lord.Star Lord even manages to trick and hypnotize him to unite with him to harness energy sufficient enough to activate all his seedlings which would further terraform into his own extensions leading to a complete obliteration of the universe.Apparently,Yondu and fellow Ravagers were hired to traffic Ego's children to him but when he realized what Ego was up to he decided to abstain from subjecting Peter to the same. Trafficking of children is a direct violation of Ravager code owing to which Yondu ends up losing the respect of fellow Ravagers including Stakar. Yondu's protective nature towards Star Lord also allows Taserface to convince other Ravagers that he's no longer worthy of leading them.Despite not being Peter's biological father,Yondu proves his love for him by abnegating his life in the end and regain the respect of the Ravagers.He's also honored with the Ravager funeral.The whole High Priestess angle was too boring to intrigue me.Can you love someone so much that to distract your mind off them,you are compelled to plant a life consuming tumor in their head.No right?Well that's how Meredith Quill died. Drax's bluntness and boisterous mirth was funny in volume 1 but it was overdone in this one that really grated on my nerves.Mantis wasn't too likable either. All in all,it was a pretty forgettable movie and i really don't know what to expect from Volume 3 and 'Adam'.

Iron Man,War Machine,Black Widow,Spider Man,Vision & Black Panther vs Captain America,Winter Soldier,Scarlet Witch,Hawkeye,Falcon & Ant Man.The Avengers are not on the same page when it comes to signing the Sokovian accord that stymies them from functioning as a private organization anymore.Stark's decision of signing the accord is largely shaped by compunction.While Cap believes that signing the accord means relinquishing control and allowing the mendacious factions like Hydra & the Shield to take over. Zemo,a guy who lost his family during the Sokovian explosion attempts to create a rift among the Avengers by blowing up a United Nations establishment,leading to T'Chaka's death and framing Bucky in the process.Apparently,the only way Zemo could have avenged his family's death was by driving a wedge among the Avengers.Rogers and Wilson take it upon themselves to capture Buck but T'Challa is hell bent on retribution and goes after him as well.In the end,Barnes is captured.Back on December 16th 1991,Hydra brainwashed Buck to get rid of Howard Stark and his wife by reading out some lines from a red book,triggering the monster in him. Zemo gains access to the same book and by masquerading as a doctor breaks into the same facility where Barnes is held and utters the same lines triggering the same reaction from Barnes once again.Wilson and Rogers successfully manage to subdue him but now team Stark is shouldered with the responsibility of bringing him in within 36 others failing which would prompt Ross to go after him himself.A civil war breaks out between team Stark and team Rogers at the end of which,Rogers and Barnes manage to escape once again after Natasha prevents T'Challa from going after them.The other Avengers on team Rogers are captivated in a facility which is located in the middle of nowhere.When Stark finds out that it was all Zemo's doing he decides to unite with Cap and Bucky until he learns that it was Bucky who killed his parents.Seething with rage,Stark goes after Barnes but Rogers manages to fight him off.Before Rogers departs,Stark reminds him that it was Howard Stark who built the shield and he doesn't deserve it goading him to drop the shield.Rogers also manages to break out the captivated Avengers and writes a letter to Stark extending his apology and also letting him know that hes always there for him. I personally liked the first 2 editions of Captain America much more.This one lacked an enthralling storyline. And as much as i liked the battle between team Stark and team Rogers,it didn't really lead to anything in the end.Spider man was at his hilarious best once again.He was the saving grace in the movie.But in the end,it was a pretty forgettable movie and definitely not nearly as good as the earlier 2 editions.

I don't know why the upper sections of the society are portrayed in such bad light just to make the underprivileged sections look good and intellectually superior.This has always been the trend in Bollywood and it nauseates me.First of all its atrociously fallacious.Indian youth is more than accommodating and teachers never discriminate the students basis their socio-economic backgrounds.The whole movie is based on a flawed notion. When a bunch of 14 municipality students are enrolled into Saint Notker's after their municipality school is demolished,they are alienated by pretty much everyone in the school.The newcomer "9F" batch makes some genuine yet futile attempts to fraternize with the rather hostile Saint Notker students.It even fails to elicit any sort of cooperation from the faculties.As a result the "good guys" from 9F turn rogue and turn to rebellious ways to oust out every teacher that steps foot into their classroom. Apparently,no teacher is patient enough to discipline them and that creates an opening for the class teacher post of 9F which is subsequently filled by Naina Mathura who's been on the receiving end of 18 straight rejections already on account of being a Tourette syndrome victim.From their its just a typical Bollywood fairy-tale. Naina manages to win the 9F students over by being protective,patient and understanding towards them.She also employs some innovative teaching methods that gets their interests going.In the end all the 9F students manage to pass with flying colors as you would expect. It wasn't a bad movie at all.I just found it too dramatic and honestly the storyline a bit whimsical. Rani Mukherjee is indisputably one of the finest actresses Bollywood has ever produced and she manages to shine every time she makes an appearance.Although,the kids played second fiddle to her,they too made the most of the opportunity.It was heartening to watch the veteran duo of Sachin & Supriya back.

I know i am going to sound hypercritical but for me the movie that was being touted as the potential film of the century actually didn't really live up to the hype.Obviously the movie was only a build up to Avengers 4 that's going to feature a resurrection of the fallen avengers.But its not really the ending of the movie that bothers me.Its the fact that the movie was heavily shaped around the guardians in a possible attempt to elevate their popularity among the Marvel fans .Although crossovers are always fun but only as long as they are not lopsided in terms of the importance rendered to the characters involved.The whole idea of having Thanos as the father of Gamora in itself was a kind of a let down for me. It was good to see Thor getting his eye back,forging a new hammer and unleashing mayhem on Wakanda.Hes got this knack of always stealing the show with his dramatic entrances.I was personally anticipating the Ragnarok background score upon his advent to Wakanda. It was disappointing not to have Captain America feature more in the movie.Even the few appearances he made were immensely low key. I was never really a Vision/Scarlet Witch fan and hence my reaction to his sacrifice was stoical at best. I am a huge Benedict Cumberbatch fan and it was amusing to watch him teaming up with Peter and Tony.He also holds the key to the revival of the avengers and half of the universe.Its ostensible that the abdication of the time stone was the only way that would lead to a favorable outcome among the 14 million outcomes he contemplated on Titan.I am thoroughly impressed by the poise,the soothing tranquility about his character Dr Strange and how he manages to pull off so much without any fuss whatsover.It somehow balances and complements the grueling action and lends an enigmatic appeal to the movie. The desperate attempts made by Bruce to wake up the Hulk were really annoying to watch. It gives me immense joy to watch Peter Parker still being projected as a flippant ambitious kid with zero trepidation that always manages to find himself in trouble.More importantly, having Tony coming to the rescue adds to his fatherly attitude towards Peter. Shuri's failed attempt to rid Vision of the Mind Stone without compromising his life was actually encouraging to watch as i have never really been a fan of how in some movies technology somehow overshadows the human element and in the end its about how well my toys measure up against yours.And Wakanda being home to vibranium always makes any movie featuring black panther susceptible to my fears.It was heartening to watch black panther unfazed before the enemy and the war that broke out post that is exactly what i wanted to see.And just when the enemy starts inching ahead,the God of Thunder comes to the rescue and unleashes hell.That was my favorite moment in the movie.That said, although Black Panther has always been skeptical about utilizing vibranium to forge weapons but whats the whole point of hoarding it in the first place if you can't even ward off the enemy.Had it not been for Thor,we would ve seen Wakanda obliterated.Not using vibranium to wage war on the rest of the world can be rationalized but then failing to utilize it to set up an impregnable defense system is beyond me.Even the vibranium blanket that shields Wakanda is no good. As far as Thanos goes,the whole idea of destroying mankind just to pave way for a better future is beyond absurd and way too cliched.I simply cannot buy it.Apparently the idea was to accentuate the good in him.The fact that it was harrowing for him to abnegate his daughter,the utter remorse on his face when he realizes that his fixation for the infinity stones landed him nowhere all contributed to the build up of his character as someone who isn't a quitessential villain but rather someone who in his quest of saving the universe ends up losing his beloved daughter. In a nutshell although the movie was amazing,it was only a build up in the end which makes the sequel even more exciting and something that the fans are already eagerly waiting for.

Everything in the movie was building up to a palatable ending until suddenly it all comes to a screeching halt.While its quite ostensible that Shoojit Sircar is fixated on the idea that a tragic ending is the only way to lend credibility to the storyline instead of culminating it with a stereotypical happy ending, October was one of those movies which was so glum and languid in its outlook that it deserved an ending that would do justice to the persistent painstaking effort put in by Dan(Varun Dhawan) to bail Shiuli(Banita Sandhu) out of a potentially fatal predicament and put a smile on the viewer's face but in the end all the efforts turn out to be futile and that essentially makes the movie depressing and wayward in the name of being realistic.

A man of Tom Ellis's caliber is capable of carrying an entire show and Lucifer is only a testament to his craft.The subtlety with which he portrays 2 contrasting sides of the same character;The Devil himself who is as vehement and intense as they come offering no amnesty to the sinners and the flippant carefree Lucifer Morningstar who is more than content with his extravagant debaucherous lifestyle until he crosses path with Chloe Decker whose able to draw out the compassionate side of him.Other characters in the show including Amenadiel,Mazikeen, Detective Douche :D,Ella Lopez, Linda are immaculate with their work as well.

If u liked Piku then u ll adore QQS.This movie will go down as one of my favorite Bollywood movies of all time.No flashy dresses no extravagant lifestyles no fake accents no elaborate entrances.And not to mention some marvellous acting on the part of both Irfan (Yogi) and Parvathy(Jaya).When the movie begins one would wonder how the two characters that are poles apart in their mannerisms, lifestyles,cultures would end up together.What follows slowly but steadily builds up towards that outcome.Awesome movie.
