I’ve never fully played through a Metroid game before. I’ve watched gameplay of all the other games and played a little bit of super Metroid before dread, and I have to say this game is a masterpiece. The controls are stellar, using the abilities feel very good, the emmi add a nice change of pace to the game and are very threatening, and the bosses are by far the best thing about the game. The bosses can be difficult if you don’t know what your doing but once you figure out the bosses patterns it becomes very satisfying too avoid the attacks and punish them. This game is definitely my game of the year and I highly recommend that you buy this game if you have a switch and if you are planning on getting into the Metroid franchise, it was definitely worth the wait and the 60 dollars
