I have read every one of John Sandfords books and this is by far his worst ever. Reading this was an exhausting waste of time for an author who has always been one my favorites. He is wasting his and my time delving in science fiction

If you can find the book, Serpentine by Thomas Thompson - it is even more terrifying than this series. I have a copy now, and I am even more scared to read it after watching The Serpent. This was so very well done.
