Let me begin by saying this, along with anything on TV these days, has been a show that walks the line with appropriateness. We watched Troll hunters and enjoyed it very much. When 3 Below came out it was neat to see the crossover characters tie everything all together. I have a 10 and 7 yr old. We started watching the newest season of 3 below and I was NOT prepared for a scene with two female children kissing. My youngest said it must have been her sister, my oldest - who knows a bit more about lifestyles, just looked at me. We are a conservative family, but understand our world is made up of many wonderful people, and I am fine discussing this with my pre-teen children. But my 7yr old had no need to see two children kiss. There were many other ways they could have handled this episode. I don't even mind the girls stating they had never even been kissed and look sad then move to the next scene. It is what it is, but animating that content was disturbing and has placed that last nail in the coffin in my Netflix account. I used to trust their ratings, but pushing images like this to children is unacceptable. 7yr olds don't need to watch anyone make out. Or reference the "kissing tree" so often. if the show had a rating of 13 plus, I wouldn't be as upset. This is really a teenage show. Not y7.
