The lion king is one of my favorite animated movies. It was my first sons theme for his bedroom and his first animated movie. I saw the broadway musical as well which is superb! The remake was ok adorable as well but I have to say some of the acting (voice) was not as great as I would have loved. Not as much “eumf” in Simba and Nala. I love all of the actors but it just didn’t hit me as hard as the original. I’m giving this 4 stars because it’s a treasure but not a 5 because of the less punch in the acting.
