Ms. Goldberg was confused as to why "Trump Supporters" are not rushing out to get the COVID Vaccine.......... First, it is not a 'cult'....we do not 'follow' whatever the "Leaders" say. Secondly, those who do NOT listen to the mainstream media and it's 'spins' are very leary of the fact that people have died from the "Vaccine".......one comes to mind where a man's 16yo daughter died two days after her first 'jab' due to bloodclots.......and there is little info as to how many have died from getting the "jab" no matter which one..... AND if it was "soooooo good a thing to do".why are so many Governments having to offer prizes (bribes) to get people to get it?

Loved the movie..............have seen it many times and still love it. Unfortunately, the 'back-story' is one of pettiness - like children on a playground - between the writer and the Director. Many scenes were reshot, humerous parts and sub-plots were removed - such as Ibn's interactions with the 'water girl'. The Director said that he wanted to do a Director's cut..........but he passed away before he did so, as did the author so it 'sits as it is' maybe until SOMEONE can find the whole mix and re-edit it into something Grand. It would be delightful to see a 'new version'! I am thankful that I have the DVD which is no longer available.

If you're not familiar with the French comic book, you'll probably think this movie is disjointed; the storyline lacks flow/follow through. I know I did. It seemed choppy, and maybe poorly edited where I had to put pieces together that I feel should have been more clearly explained as the movie progressed - the timeline being the most confusing to me: which supporting characters had become 'older' from the earlier part of the story. Yet, that being said, I was fascinated with how our Frontier life was viewed by the French from the point of a comic book. I was also curious as to how the "ayahuasca ceremony" played into the story. I bought the dvd and have watched it numerous times even sharing it with friends. It was not a waste of money nor time. Just drop any preconceived ideas of how it SHOULD be when you watch.
