I assumed since Julia Roberts and Ethan Hawke are in this movie, that it would be good ... Unfortunately that is not the case. The plot is interesting, so the movie could have been good, but unfortunately it was executed poorly. A lot of time is spent getting to know the characters, but they are simply not interesting and sort of unlikable. There are also a lot of periods of exaggerated, suspense, where a character stares off at something a little too long before it is revealed to the audience. And the parts with the animals just didn't really make sense. And then you have the nauseating cinematography that just fails. The movie drags on way too long, and in the end is quite a letdown. I'm surprised that Julia Roberts took this role. I expected the quality of this film to be higher since she is in it...but no.
