Just completed viewing this series for the first time. Incredibly overrated series! Sure, there are some interesting characters and some really good moments, but it doesn't make up for the boring, repeatitive scenes; pointless arcs; outright dumb story lines and character developments. A great series will leave you wanting more after each season or after a series wrap, but, I was left with zero anticipation from season to season, and was looking forward to the series ending so I could move onto something else.

Denzel carries this edition as he renews his role as the equalizer. Unfortunately, the movie's flow suffers from the constant switching between English and subtitled Italian, often with extended scenes entirely in Italian. Mccall's eventual confrontation with the "bad guys" comes across as rushed and overly simplistic.
