Giants the developer has gotten a bad reputation of doing the bare minimum. This.. is 20$ at most of content. Too many fanboys simp the developer acting like their poor efforts are adequate. Thats a lot of the problem we need to send a message that the game deserves better. Pretty sure more effort went into trailer than entire game.

Made it through 2 episodes lost interest I don't think the script writers ever picked up an anne rice book. Shows more worried about pushing agendas than telling a story faithfully to the books.

This is final fantasy bought from wish, the story is forgettable with characters who are shallow. Graphics on ps5 suck... like literally the worst looking "new" game lighting and textures just look very dated. Their is no "wow that's cool" feeling it's just like filler until an actually deep final fantasy experience comes along. Really it should be marketed at 40$tops... cause it is just an arcadey spinoff not what has made ff franchise popular. I put 8hrs into the game before just getting annoyed at the repetition and story. Also drops... you can swat a fly and get a new pair of pants. Loot Is just stupidly given out like monsters are piñatas makes no sense at all. Buy eldin ring if you haven't already instead of this.

This is a game I saw coming soon for some time that I didn't think would amount to much cause franchise games can go either way. Glad to see it surpassed my expectations the developer put a lot of effort into doing the hot wheels brand justice. It walks the line of being kid friendly while still being challenging enough for adults. I've been playing on ps5 the graphics are very well done, cars looks realistic so much that I find myself just checking out the details on them. The music is fitting for how frantic the game is... personally I dig it has a perky funky vibe and helps fuel the excitement on tracks. It is challenging anyone saying otherwise play on medium or up then do a boss battle you'll see what I mean. I'm in my 40's this game gives me a lot of nostalgia feel back to when I use to collect hotwheels as a kid nice to see some of the older models. Really hoping the developers go all out with expansions/cars cause this has huge potential.

This game sold so poorly on ps5 the dev is now going to put it on ps4 to try and recoup losses. It's the only game I played on my ps5 that I sent back to gamefly the same day. Just so much jankiness to the gameplay with linear levels and forced online that makes no sense. People who applaud it have low expectations and just are trying to make themselves feel better about wasting money.

Returnal is a decent game I enjoy it but not the developers actions as of late. Their doing like outriders dev's rushing patches not knowing exactly what their doing. One of the main feedback requests is a save feature... yet they ignore it. A simple save on exit would not exploit or take away from the game experience but still they arrogantly ignore peoples requests. Fanboys will defend them but when I'm paying 70$ for a game I expect them to know what their doing. I really don't see this game making enough money to succeed when they cut off a portion of potential players over "artistic design".
