The canal/casino project is so far-fetched that it distracts from the entire story. Anyone who knows Albuquerque, and New Mexico and the Rio Grande knows such a project is impossible. also, having casual with the mayor and friend of his dead mother makes no sense; failure of his mother's lawyer to read him the will and instead showing him a house makes no sense. so many other non-sensible events makes this a so--so read.
