A stellar performance by the cast in a story told so raw, deeply engaging and a rivetting tale, makes Bhakshak a must watch on Netflix. The gore incident of the Bihar shelter home case 2018 is portrayed effortlessly realistic so much so that one feels it's just around. In a very clever way the audience is also moved along the storyline where your consciousness will be roped in and hammered towards the end. The film raises the importance of raising our voices against evil in order to make a better place for all of us. Bhumi portrayed it in the skin of the character. Surprise elements were CID fame 'Inspector Abhijeet' Aditya Shrivastava, Panchayt fame'Banrakas' Durgesh Kumar. A must watch.

Writing this straight after I close my Netflix tab. It's a heartwarming story. Loved the performance, writing, direction, cinematography, background score, but above all I guess we must at first congratulate the spirit of Aisha Chaudhary! What this girl achieved in 18 years of her life many fail to achieve in a much longer time. YOLO in all spirits. Many congratulations to her family for letting out this story to public. After all it takes great courage to put out your personal share of pie with all its salt and sugar. Loved it.

A poignant movie thats shooks one from within. It not only testifies a mother's strength but also reinforces the power that women possess to fight odds transboundary. To me it appeared that Mrs Chatterjee ultimately wins not only as a mother but also as a lady who broke all shackles of her toxic married life. Also in a deeper connotation the movie brings the harder fact to the table that One Cannot Choose One's Mother, Nor Can One Choose One's Motherland! The fairy tale of version stating the certain western countries as the ultimate place to get settled for 'Happily Ever After' is nothing but a myth. And no index, chart or graph published by some XYZ claiming so and so Countries to be the 'happiest in the world' should be allowed to allure people from developing countries to go and settle there for a hollow life. Good there, study there, maybe earning there is okay; but starting a family and settling permanently there is a complete no no! Kudos to Mrs Chatterjee for this long and arduous battle!! Kudos to Mrs Mukherjee for doing a complete justice to this role. No one except her could have justified the strong emotions the role demanded. A must watch.

The review comes straight after watching the movie. And it's a paradox that stuns one within. The film depicts the exodus of Kashmiri Pundits from their homelands and making them refugees in their own nation prima facie,however to an underlying tone it tells the story of sheer helplessness and agony of every person who is thwarted out of his home. The actors did a brilliant job. The screenplay and direction is anyhow a labelled top notch of VVC. Loved it.
