Pat characters. You can see what’s going happen from a mile away. Disappointing.

Excellent acting but the story is very sad. Prejudice, cruelty and, of course, senseless murder. And those are just the teenagers!

Pretty grim stuff. Violent criminals, dirty cops and prison guards, sad strippers. I don’t know. The world is tough enough right now. I imagine this is pretty real but it’s sufficiently depressing.

I had a lot of hope. Although Kristen Stewart is luminous, the story drags and is an effort to slog through.
